On the Edit Pattern page you can enter drum and percussion sounds with the sound buttons, or piano/bass sounds with the keyboard, or konnakol sounds with the konnakol panel.

1. To enter "Sound Entry" mode, tap on Line 1 or Line 2 below the notation you've entered.

2. To view different options for sounds you can enter, tap where it Sound Buttons (or whatever you're currently viewing)
