New in 23.09.4

This version includes new Example Playlists, syncing of Favourite Sounds, and syncing of Saved Rhythms.

Example Playlists

  1. Go to Playlist Manager and tap the menu button (...) in the top right.
  2. Choose Example Playlists.

You'll see an example about creating a band setlist, one for 40 essential rudiments, and another for Gap Click builder.

Each example comes with tips and tricks for getting the most out of Playlists.More examples will be added over time.

Syncing of Favourite Sounds

In the Sound Picker you can swipe left on a sound in the list to add it to Favourites.

Previously, these favourites were per-device. In this update, favourited sounds will sync between devices.

NOTE: It's possible that your favourited sounds may have just disappeared. If that's the case, you can go to Preferences -> Diagnostics -> Recover Favourite Sounds to re-instate them.

Syncing of Saved Rhythms

In the Edit Pattern page, you can long press on any rhythm you've added to the list at the top and Save Rhythm to save it to the Saved Rhythms page.

Like favourite sounds, these saved rhythms were only saved on the device you created them.

This update should sync saved rhythms across your devices.

It was tricky to implement this and there's a small possibility that your saved rhythms may have disappeared.

If that's the case, I'm sorry! Please let me know at support@polynome.net so I can try and find a way to recover them.

It's also possible that if you'd created the same saved rhythms on multiple devices, then when the sync is complete you'll see duplicates.

If you delete a saved rhythm and it reappears, it's because it was created on a different device.

For now, you need to delete saved rhythms on the device where they were created in order for them to be completely removed.

I apologise for the messiness of this. Hopefully, it's pretty quick to recreate them if there are any issues.

Enjoy the new features!

Joe
